They caught the croc! We got word straight after school yesterday that the door to the croc trap was down so we headed straight to the beach. When we got there the police were dropping there boat in at the ramp and there were people everywhere. The police drove out and hooked up the trap and then towed it back in to the boat ramp. As they started winching the trap onto the trailer, we could see the croc. It was huge! Apparently the trap was 4 metres and the croc was lying in it with its tail curled up. So it was massive, I couldn't believe how thick it was. It wasn't happy and gave a big thrash which shook the trailer and the car it was hooked up to. The rangers then drove it to the top of the boat ramp and gave everyone a look at it. There was shade cloth over the sides to keep it from flippin' out, so that made taking photos hard. Everyone was amazed though at how big it was. We took a few photos and stared at it for a while until the rangers took it away. It was unbelievable being less than a metre away from it!
