Claudie River:

An estuary just of the coast of Lockhart:

Me trying to look like a fisherman:

Stu and I cruising up one of the estuaries:

A fresh water stream pouring into the estuary:

Another estuary:

Right after I caught my first Barra, it flung off the hook and was flapping around it the bottom of the boat. I got a little excited and somehow the lure ended up landing in the backside of Amanda's shorts. Susan had a go at getting the lure out of Amanda's shorts but as she freed the lure, I must have moved and the lure ended up in Susan's finger! This was the result:

After all of the chaos, I finally got a picture with me and my first Barra:

The Trevally I caught trolling. He was a bit too small to take home so we threw him back:

One of Stu's Barra's:

Stu called last cast and as I was reeling it in I caught this little Mangrove Jack. Way too small to keep:

The boat ramp. Sketchy as because the Claudie River is full of crocs! Check out the Hilux in the background:

Stu and I off to check the crab pots:

Back home to fillet the Barra. A few lessons from Stu:

Justin. Pop says try and catch a bigger fish as he could eat those fillets in one go. How long did it take you to fillet the fish and now you can do all the filleting when you go fishing with Pop. Lil !
